Turn to God.

Long time no blog post! If you have been keeping up with me on Instagram, you would have seen that I’ve been in the process of starting a new job and moving across the country- but I’m back and ready to chat, so lets go!

This season of my life has been so great so far. Through all the change, it has really shown how important it is for me to turn to God always. Not just in the good, not just in the bad, always. 

I think it is easy for us to realize the importance of working on our relationship with God during a rough season of our lives. Of course that is important, but I have realized that it is just as important for us to turn to God during the good seasons. Our lives are good because of what God has given us. The new job, new home, new relationship, wouldn’t be in your life if you didn’t trust God and his plan for you. We should be thanking Him for that and growing closer to Him with our thanksgiving! 

When I was little I used to think that God was just someone I would talk to whenever I needed something because I knew He could preform miracles. The older I get and the more I get into His word, the more I realize the kind and gentle nature that He has, and the longing He has for a relationship with us. Jesus wants to be with you. Not just in the good and not just in the bad, but always! 

No matter what season of life you are in, it is always the perfect time to deepen your relationship with God!
